A writer needs a lot of luck just to be taken on by a mainstream publisher. But while you are waiting you can always do it yourself. Shortly after publication of The Dark Side of the Fylfot, I took the pretty major decision to publish it as an e-book as well. I don’t know yet whether e-books are the future of literature but on Amazon’s American site they are already outselling paperbacks. The UK is lagging behind in the digital revolution but will surely catch up soon.

I am just about finished my fifth draft of my historical essay, The Lion, the Sun and the Eternal Blue Sky: the Mongols and the Persian Empire. Thoughts of publication are still a little way down the road.
